Eerst de duisternis. Toen het rood.
Daarna het goud dat begon te ademen.
Zwart kant dat contrasteert met zachte huid.
Jarretels als lijnen van spanning.
En onder haar stappen — rood vuur.
Elke streek intuïtief, elke druppel bewust.
Elke laag doordrenkt met liefde.
Dit is niet zomaar een vrouw in de regen.
Dit is kracht in beweging.
Dit schilderij is gemaakt voor de 60e verjaardag van mijn man.
LADY and RED
First the darkness outsiders, then the red,
then the gold that began to breathe.
Black lace contrasting with soft skin.
Carters as lines of tension.
And beneath her steps- RED FIRE.
Every stroke intuïtieve, every drip intentional and love.
This is not just a woman in the rain, this is strength in motion.
This painting was creatief for my husband’s 60th birthday.

VELVET SMILE
In Velvet Smile verschijnt Marilyn Monroe niet als herinnering, maar als energie.
Haar glimlach is geen pose, maar een sluier — fluweelzacht, met een diepte die je pas ziet wanneer je langer kijkt. Onder het goud leeft een stilte. Onder de zachtheid schuilt kracht.
Ik werkte in lagen, zoals emoties zich ook in lagen tonen. Licht raakt schaduw, schaduw opent licht. Wat zichtbaar wordt, is niet alleen een gezicht, maar een aanwezigheid.
Dit werk nodigt niet uit om te kijken.
Het nodigt uit om te voelen.
VELVET SMILE
In Velvet Smile, Marilyn Monroe appears not as memory, but as energy.
Her smile is not a pose, but a veil — velvet-soft, carrying a depth that reveals itself only to those who linger. Beneath the gold lives stillness. Beneath the softness, strength.
I worked in layers, as emotions unfold in layers. Light touches shadow, shadow opens light. What emerges is not merely a face, but a presence.
This piece does not ask to be seen.
It asks to be felt.
